In Spring/Summer 2015, The North Face® is proud to present a new lifestyle Mountain Jacket collection, 30 years after the original was first introduced to the world.

When the Mountain Jacket was introduced in 1985, it revolutionized the way we climb and explore the world. It has scaled the highest peaks in the world, making its way through testing conditions of swirling storms and extreme ice. It protected the Snowbird Everest Expedition team in 1987 from the aggressive and volatile weather on their journey. In the last 30 years, the Mountain Jacket continuously evolved to suit the needs of explorers with innovation and revolutionary materials. It paved way for the iconic layering system used widely in outdoor sports today.

From shoulder overlays to heritage-style labels, the Spring/Summer 2015 Mountain Jacket collection brings the spirit of exploration to urban dwellers, keeping true to the original style and design elements. The new collection takes into consideration the needs of urban explorers, utilizing technology such as waterproof HyVent®, and introducing lightweight packability on specific models to support the wearer on their adventures outside.

The collection features four models, Heritage Mountain Jacket, Limited Mountain Jacket, Rage Mountain Jacket, and Seasonal Mountain Jacket, in a range of color, fit, and material options. The jackets will be available at select retailers and www.thenorthface.com starting from February 2015.
