Weighing just 410g, The North Face® Verto Plasma is one of the lightest technical approach shoes on the market. Inspired by over 40 years of mountaineering technology, the shoe is built specifically for alpinists, climbers and via ferrata hikers supporting heavy loads over uneven terrain. Constructed with proprietary Cradle™ technology, the Verto Plasma is engineered to provide revolutionary stability. Naturally absorbing impact, the Cradle™ supports the perimeter of the heel, anatomically positioning underlying fatty tissues to give a biomechanically correct stride.

The OutDoor Industry Award is given to particularly innovative design and above-average product quality. A jury of outdoor industry experts evaluated products based on a set of 11 criteria including: degree of innovation; design quality; workmanship, choice of materials; and trendsetting character.
